"Liberty is to the collective body, what health is to every individual body.  Without health no pleasure can be tasted by man; without liberty, no happiness can be enjoyed by society."

Audio Report: Episode 17 of The Health Wyze Report

In this show, we outline why we don't always play well with others, expose the problems with the so-called leaders of our community, explain why we do not associate ourselves with many other groups, and warn people about some of the deceptive games played by the health "gurus". We caution people about raw foodists who recommend raw meats and eggs.

This is bound to become known as the "They've stopped sugar-coating" episode.

We discuss even more problems with products coming from China, their upcoming involvement in vaccine manufacture, the modern use of cadmium, along with the hidden danger in painted plates. We elaborate on the health dangers of factory farmed fish and how such breeding methods lead to a lack of biodiversity. We explain the problems with high definition televisions, explain how to avoid most of the issues, and also expose the dangers of wireless internet in large institutions, such as schools and colleges. We mention the mental issues caused by flickers in fluorescent lights and televisions, and the associated seizure risks.

We warn people about detergents, dryer sheets and dishwasher drying agents, offer an alternative for vegetarians who must otherwise rely on soy, give advice specifically to adult men who are getting too much iron, and the discoveries of Linus Pauling about how to remove excess iron from the body. We explain that people who have problems with fungi and dandruff should supplement with zinc. We also advise pet owners about using nutrition to treat severe pet injuries.

Great show. I had a question about hemp milk. It's not available near us. I saw some online and checked the ingredients. What do you think about these ingredients:
Hemp nut base (filtered water, hemp nut [shelled hemp seed]), vanilla with other natural flavors, sunflower lecithin, sea salt, carrageenan, dipotassium phosphate, vitamin A palmitate, vitamin D2, riboflavin, vitamin B12.
    Contains a trace of sugar

    Thanks,
    Lisa

While the ingredients are not terrible, I would never recommend it as a health product.

The fact that 'natural flavors' are listed is a red flag, because 'natural flavors' can mean almost anything. It generally means that the company producing the product has something to hide. The term is so loosely defined by the F.D.A. that it encourages companies to be deceptive, and that is by design.

Carrageenan is a cheap and common food additive, and it is made from seaweed. Seaweed should almost always be avoided, because it is likely to be contaminated with toxins and heavy metals.

Dipotassium phosphate is a fungicide. The bottom line is that if it is dangerous to fungus, then it is probably harmful to the human body, too. It is one of the safer preservatives, but that is not saying much. In addition, it usually comes from China, and you probably know how much we trust them from what we said on our show.

The synthetic vitamins will do nothing to help, and are the reason that vitamins are derided by doctors for causing "expensive urine". Anytime a product is "enriched", the vitamins are usually only added in order to make the product look healthy, when in fact, it is devoid of real nutrition.

We sometimes supplement with Hemp Pro Fiber from Manitoba Harvest, and it has only one ingredient, "Raw cold milled organic hemp protein powder". It is neither "enhanced" nor "enriched" by the chemical industry.

Love that I just wasted some good ingredients in my homemade laundry detergent by putting Borax in it. I saw so many mixed things about it and in the end I couldn't find a recipe that DIDN'T use it so I decided that it couldn't be that bad. I've been running an extra rinse cycle so hopefully I haven't been poisoning my family too much. Next time I'll definitely be leaving it out!! ERGH.

I use a coconut oil soap bar to wash clothes. I grate it up, then grind to a powder. And add vinegar to my rinse cycle. Some don't like the fact that the clothes don't have a "springtime smell", but they get clean. I almost bought the borax too. Glad I didn't.
