Recipe: Basil and Tomato Pasta

- 1/2 lb. whole wheat pasta
- 1 cup sliced fresh basil leaves
- 4 cloves of garlic, diced finely
- 1 (14 oz.) can whole peeled tomatoes, chopped
- 1/3 cup extra virgin, cold pressed olive oil
Mix all ingredients together and put to the side for 15 minutes until flavors marry. Cook pasta until tender and drain well. Pour basil mixture on top of pasta, mix well and serve.
Optional: Parmesan cheese and hot pepper flakes.
