Naturally Eliminating Cluster Headaches and How the Establishment is Blocking Cures

Cluster headaches are otherwise known as suicide headaches, because of the common fate of many sufferers. These headaches are much worse than migraines, and occur for somewhere between 15 minutes and three hours, several times a day. This continues for weeks, months, or even years. These headaches frequently occur during sleep, and on only one side of the head. Researchers have dubbed cluster headaches "one of the worst pain syndromes known to mankind". Those experiencing one of these super-headaches enters a disoriented world, with confusion, short-term memory loss, the inability to understand those around them, and nothing but unbearable pain. The vast majority of pain killers do not help, and video sites like Youtube are full of people cataloging their experiences, with very little help available.
Some astute readers may notice that the above set of symptoms also occurs with oxygen deprivation. Incidentally, a pure oxygen tank is one of the few things that stops these attacks. We have extensively researched this topic for the sake of those suffering from cluster headaches, and we have concluded that cluster headaches are a result of inadequate amounts of oxygen getting into the brain.
Throughout the Internet, people with these headaches are seeking certain illegal drugs to provide them with relief. These particular drugs effect the blood vessels leading to the brain, which could help explain some of their effect. Strangely, these drugs normally constrict blood vessels, which most people would assume causes a reduced oxygen level. We have concluded that the constriction of the vessels increases the flow of blood, due to the increased blood pressure. Perhaps an undesirable amount of vessel expansion is responsible for both increased overall pressure on the brain, and a low blood pressure inside the skull. Lower blood pressure means a slower movement of blood, and thereby, less intake of oxygen. Until more research is performed, we have only these educated speculations to hold onto to explain the cause and effect relationships. Research concerning how medicines specifically effect cluster headache sufferers is absent due to the current draconian drug laws. The inhumane drug war continues to stop people from accessing natural medicines, and prevents even researchers from studying their beneficial effects.
"The authors interviewed 53 cluster headache patients who had used psilocybin [mushrooms] or lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) to treat their condition. Twenty-two of 26 psilocybin users reported that psilocybin aborted attacks; 25 of 48 psilocybin users and 7 of 8 LSD users reported cluster period termination; 18 of 19 psilocybin users and 4 of 5 LSD users reported remission period extension."

Psilocybin (sighlo-sigh'-bin) mushrooms (commonly called "shrooms"), morning glory seeds, and L.S.D. have all been successfully used to mediate this condition. Dosages are much smaller than are used recreationally, with no hallucinogenic effects being noted in many cases. Along with stopping the headaches, these drugs also seem to be able to stop reoccurrence for several days. Considering the amount of pain that sufferers experience, it would be immoral for us to avoid mentioning these extremely effective remedies. However, we never recommend L.S.D. due to its extreme effects, length of 'trip', and its unpredictable nature as a synthetic drug. Likewise, caution should be taken regarding the use of morning glory seeds, because retail seeds are often coated in chemicals to prevent this use, and the dangers of these chemicals are unknown.
Many cluster headache sufferers claim that their headaches are improved, or they have lower rates of occurrences when exposed to cooler air, or exercising outside. All of these methods have a relationship with greater oxygen exposure and short term increases in blood pressure.
Chlorophyll has the fascinating property of allowing more oxygen to enter cells, while simultaneously protecting the cells from oxidation damage. It is the miraculous substance used by plants for photosynthesis (turning carbon dioxide and water into carbohydrates and oxygen). We strongly recommend that cluster headache sufferers purchase liquid chlorophyll concentrate, and place around ten drops directly onto their tongues several times a day, waiting for around 30 seconds, and then washing it down with a fluid. This will also provide the person with additional energy.
Dr. Johanna Budwig pioneered what is now referred to as the Budwig Diet. The proper protocol requires that the diet be augmented with a mixture that is made from flax seed oil with a source of sulfur proteins, such as cottage cheese or yogurt. This protocol was able to cure all types of cancers, and reverse some cases of heart disease. It drives oxygen deeply into tissues, creating a healthier oxygen-rich environment that has an ideal alkaline pH. For these reasons, it should also be beneficial to cluster headache victims.
L-tryptophan can be quite helpful too. It likely has a dual effect upon the headaches. First, it increases serotonin levels, which causes brain blood vessels to constrict. Secondly, it elevates blood pressure as a powerful natural anti-depressant. This is because whenever people are depressed, their bodies metabolisms slow and their blood pressure drops. Multiple people have experienced some relief from this supplementation, and it is available at some health food stores. Tryptophan brings balance to the chemicals inside the brain, creating needed amounts of serotonin, melatonin, lactic acid, and niacin. It is therefore strongly recommended. (Note: Whole Foods does not sell it).
There have been many sufferers who have understandably benefited from breathing exercises. Given the extreme nature of this condition, it would be prudent for people to attempt breathing exercises, such as those that are encouraged by the Chinese, and various traditional martial arts. Deep, proper breathing will allow more oxygen into the brain, thus helping when an attack does arrive.
The principal of oxygenating the body will have some readers considering the use of hydrogen peroxide for treating this condition, either orally, or with an inhaled mist. From our analysis of Internet discussions of this approach, it appears to be of little benefit. We welcome our readers to share their own experiences, and frankly there is little information to draw conclusions about hydrogen peroxide therapy.

Alcohol triggers them, but they can stop them better than oxygen sometimes.
When one comes on and oxygen doesn't stop it (about 30% of the time) I can chug 1-2 beers, and be pain free within 10 minutes.
Terrible solution to a terrible problem.

I've had cluster headaches my whole life, but none worse than when I lived in Denver, Colorado. The high altitude provided less oxygen with each breath. I also have low blood pressure to the point that the nurses who take it usually ask if I need to lay down. 90/70 is not uncommon for me midday. At that point in my life I was also experiencing some mild depression. My headaches are no longer a mystery to me as it seems all these forces created a perfect storm.
