A Dangerous Pharmaceutical Espoused as 'Alternative Medicine': Dichloroacetic Acid (DCA)

We recently learned about an alternative cancer treatment called D.C.A..  We were initially skeptical about this substance because it bears strong structural similarities to M.M.S., of which we have already exposed as a dangerous fraud.  Our research on D.C.A. left us horrified, because it is much worse than Miracle Mineral Supplement (M.M.S.).

What is DCA?

DCA is called dichloroacetic acid, dichloroacetate, and dichloroethanoic acid by chemists.  It is essentially chlorine that is mixed with oxygen and acetic acid.  This poisonous chlorine compound is found in the tap water of some municipalities, which is a fact even the World Health Organization has expressed alarm about.

Of course, this toxic contamination only occurs because bleach is used to disinfect our drinking water.  Oxygen alone could do it better (eg. hydrogen peroxide), and it would actually produce health benefits.  Chlorine is the cheapest, not the safest, or even the most effective method.  Chlorine that is combined with fluoride in the water is the largest single contributing factor for producing cancers, and it is largely responsible for heart disease too: killers number 1 and  number 2 in the U.S..  These are not exaggerations, and these statements are backed by years of research.  It is fairly certain that you will die younger and with more suffering than is necessary if you routinely drink the tap water in the U.S..

The consumption of DCA has these known effects:

• Liver failure
• Decreased grip strength
• Neurotoxicity
• Kidney damage
• Limb paralysis
• Brain lesions
• Malignant tumors
• Inflammation of the pancreas
• Tremors
• Damage to the central nervous system
• Infertility
• Birth defects
• Hepatocellular carcinoma (cancer of the liver)
• Sedation
• Muscle damage
• Diminished reflexes

How DCA "Works"

DCA does suppress some cancers.  This has been repeatedly shown in studies, but the amount necessary to fully halt cancers can easily kill a person, or lead to other equally debilitating conditions.  Proponents of DCA claim that it works by "turning on" the mitochondria, a crucial part of the DNA, which regulates both oxygen to energize cells and cellular growth.  However, acetic acid has been known to cripple the mitochondria since the 1950's: not assist it.

Judging from the effects of DCA on human health, it would appear that it works in the same manner as orthodox cancer treatments.  It attacks the entire body to result in horrendous consequences.  It weakens all of the cells, and the immune system too.  We have all been told that mutated cancer cells are less resilient than healthy, oxygen-using cells; so the cancer cells usually die first when utilizing such poisons.  Thus, the tumors may disappear, but it is important to remember that tumors are merely one symptom of a cancer, which is itself merely a symptom of acidosis combined with toxicity.  DCA actually aggravates the root causes into the long term: acidosis and toxicity.  This leaves the patient with the same dismal chance of living cancer free as if he had experienced radiation therapy.  That is, if he survives the DCA treatments.

The parallels between this "alternative" and the mainstream are difficult to miss.  This doctrine of poisoning the whole body is identical to 'conventional' medicine, and it is why the long term cure rates are so low.  Poisoning the body into good health will someday be described as insanity by future generations, and rightly so.  Perhaps it will be placed alongside other former 'miracles' of orthodox medicine, such as bloodletting.

The overall trend of killing by medicine follows historical precedent.  For example, while orthodox doctors of the not-so-distant past were using bloodletting to kill people such as George Washington, "alternative" physicians were prescribing herbal compounds, such as white willow bark extract containing the main compound for aspirin.

Prologue

When people read about alternative treatments, they generally assume that those alternatives are natural and safer.  In the majority of cases, these assumptions are well founded.  However, it is important to be watchful for alternatives which are actually dangerous chemicals.  DCA is officially part of conventional medicine, but it has not yet become a standard treatment.  Doctors provide it off-label, which is never the case for effective, natural, and safe alternative treatments.  Allopathic doctors can be disbarred from practicing medicine if they recommend the Budwig Protocol, Gerson therapy, Hoxsey therapy, or mega-doses of vitamin C, as utilized by Linus Pauling.  Yet they routinely prescribe dangerous and less effective chemicals, such as DCA, with no repercussions.

We were unable to find any dichloroacetate that is manufactured in this country.  The majority of DCA is produced in China, with a few other countries around the world joining in.  If DCA were discovered to contain lead like other Chinese products, would this be grounds for more laws on "ensuring the safety" of dietary supplements?  We all know it is coming, because natural medicines are becoming a commercial threat to allopathic medicines.

DCA needs to be completely expunged from alternative medicine.  Otherwise, people who use it for conditions like arthritis will end up dying.  Those of us who silently condon DCA will bear some of the guilt.  Thankfully, there is still time to spread the word on DCA before people start dying.  Give this information to anyone who is considering using this chemical to treat themselves, and remind them that there are safer, natural ways to cure cancer and eliminate arthritis pain.  There are proven methods that typically yield life-long cures (not just intermittent 'treatments'), which are cheap, painless, and without risk.

Fortunately, D.C.A. does not have the same popularity as its weaker cousin M.M.S..  However, if DCA does become popular, not only will more people be harmed (and killed) by this treatment, but alternative medicine will be wrongfully blamed for their deaths.  We, as a community, have a responsibility to both ourselves, and the prospective victims of DCA to detach all associations between us and it.  We must speak against it at every opportunity, or the gains that we have made in evangelizing safer and better alternatives will be lost.  We need your help in spreading this.  We can provide our readers leadership from time to time, but you are the foot soldiers who will make the difference.  We know that we can count on you.  Let it be known that DCA is a booby trap for people seeking alternative medicine, and this is exactly why the establishment turns a blind eye to it.
