Why We Created This Formula

A friend came to us with severely dry skin on his hands which had been brought about by his repeated exposure to harsh industrial detergents. The situation was so bad for him that his hands were regularly cracking open, and infectious boils sometimes resulted.

We made it our mission to help him using safe and natural ingredients, but there were no products like that on the market. We endeavored to help him avoid the standard steroid treadmill, which would have endangered his long term health, and it would have only temporarily suppressed the symptoms. Working with a dermatologist would have furthermore caused a major financial hardship. Most importantly, we wanted to heal his hands, instead of just making them temporarily feel better with typical symptom treatments that would eventually make his situation worse. Most lotions do this, by the way.

Practically all of our research into severe skin problems pointed us toward a single direction: copper. Studies prove that copper is dramatically useful in increasing skin elasticity (increasing elastin), producing ideal skin thickness, and for enhancing collagen production. Where skin is concerned, copper seems to have miraculous properties. Copper is to the skin what vitamin C is to the overall immune system. That is why pH-corrected copper in both colloidal and hydroxide form, in extreme concentration, was chosen as the core ingredient of our lotion. Our lotion contains large particles of copper, in addition to being colloidal, to maximize skin tissue utilization, since evidence has shown that larger particles of metals (like silver) are more effective for correcting skin issues.

The Ingredients (version 3 of formula)

  • Distilled Water
  • Colloidal Copper and Copper Hydroxide*
  • 100% Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Vitamin C
  • Guar Gum
  • Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda)
  • Chalk

* Do not be discouraged by the term 'hydroxide', which merely means something dissolved inside water.  Industrial copper hydroxide is not pH balanced, is made with dangerous chemicals, and often has harmful impurities.  Our process uses electricity to combine 99.99% pure copper with distilled water, and a small amount of baking soda, for safety and purity. The other 0.01% is comprised of mostly general impurities, such as oxides from routine exposure to the surrounding air.

There is roughly 8 ounces of copper lotion in the bottle. The bottle is approximately 8" tall, and 3" wide (diameter).

Video of Manufacture of Original Formula

Our newest formula differs in several ways, but this video will nevertheless give you a good idea of the overall production process; particularly how the colloidal copper and copper hydroxide are made.

Conclusions

Our formula was a resounding success. Unlike steroids, this lotion is not dangerous. Yet it heals skin and joint damage using copper alongside food-based ingredients, which have no side effects when properly used.  It is additionally not just a temporary fix in cases where the original aggravating agent is eliminated.  Our lotion also causes much of the dead and severely damaged skin to flake off painlessly, even when first applied.  It absorbs rapidly, and leaves no oily residue.  It is water-based using mostly food-based ingredients.  With its unusually rapid absorption, it sometimes appears as if the skin literally drinks it.  It leaves the skin feeling smooth and soft, and it is known for causing a brief warming and tingling sensation.  It tends to cause an almost electrical tingling, and it is, in fact, designed to work like a capacitor. Its electrical properties are not fully understood, but its capacitance is demonstrated by the fact that its electrical resistance actually increases with the addition of more copper. So, when we suggest that this lotion will charge your skin, we are being quite literal. Natural products are often believed to be significantly less effective than their chemical industry counterparts, but this lotion proves this is definitely not always the case.  We are very proud of it.

Our Skin Care Recommendations for Severely Troubled Skin

  • Stay away from direct contact with latex.  This includes latex in foods (avocado, bananas, chestnuts, kiwi, and perhaps even tomatoes).  Many Americans have latex allergies because of vaccinations.  For more information about this, see the latex section of our article, Vaccine Secrets.  Latex allergies can have horrific effects on the skin.
  • Topical use of colloidal copper (ie. the lotion).  Copper is important to the synthesis of both collagen and elastin.  It has also been shown to increase the thickness of the skin.
  • Coconut Oil.  The benefits of coconut oil seem limitless, and it is extremely useful for dry skin.  Rub it into your hands, and orally take a teaspoon or so daily.  Buy only organic, cold pressed coconut oil from a health food store.  It is not expensive, and it will help.
  • Vitamin C also increases collagen and elastin.  It is very commonly used in the treatment of dryness.
  • Since unhealthy fats and collagen disruption are likely part of the problem, there is part of the Budwig Protocol which should be helpful.  Purchase flax seed oil capsules and mix the extracted oil with cottage cheese.  Make sure the flax seed oil is in dark capsules in a dark container.  The oil can quickly become dangerously rancid when exposed to heat and light.  The reason for the cottage cheese is to provide sulfur proteins, so if you're like me and can't stand it -- use plain (unsweetened) yogurt.
  • Get liquid iodine and place about a quarter-sized patch on your skin.  Let it sink in throughout the period of a day.  Your body will naturally absorb only the amount that it needs.  Always avoid povidone iodine.
  • You could also have pre-diabetes.  Check yourself and treat accordingly after reading, Special Investigative Report: Curing Diabetes Naturally and Holistically.
  • Try supplementing with niacin at a small dosage, but please read our article concerning niacin's strange side effects.
  • You may have hypothyroidism.  Check yourself and treat accordingly after reading, How To Cure Hypothyroidism Naturally.

Conditions and Treatments

The lotion helps with joint pain, and it promotes the rapid healing of extremely damaged skin and tendons.  We are not allowed to make specific public comments about its effectiveness for treating diseases such as psoriasis, due to F.D.A. regulations.  This is because it is essentially illegal for us to make any "unapproved claims" that threaten the cozy pharmaceutical cartel that manufactures steroids.  For instance, we could not tell you if this lotion helps with arthritis symptoms, if it in fact did help with arthritis, any more than we could "make claims" about skin diseases, such as psoriasis.  You'll just have to figure these things out for yourself.  Sorry.  We really wish there were freedom of speech in the health market, and that we could legally tell you the whole truth.  We invite you to do your own research about the many benefits of transdermal copper, and contact us if you need help finding credible scientific information (like studies from the National Institutes of Health).  By the way, you are allowed to make whatever comments you wish to about our lotion, because you neither sell nor manufacture it.  So, please feel free to talk about it lots!

What Not To Expect

The great majority of commercial hand lotions are full of toxic chemical additives, which can actually cause skin dryness, especially in the long term.  Many of the ingredients in other lotion products are known to accumulate in the body, for instance the liver; and they are difficult to eliminate.  For more information about the health problems that are usually caused by lotions, reference our articles cited at the bottom of this article.  Most commercial lotions merely mask skin dryness by covering the skin in an oily coating of petroleum-based chemicals, which ultimately makes skin health (and overall health) worse.  Some of them even have plasticizing agents, which is like using epoxy on the body.  Frankly, it is so bad that most people do not even want to know.  Even in the case of lotions which just use natural oils, such as Shea butter, the skin is still being smothered in oils, and nothing is actually being done to repair the underlying damage.  Most lotions are designed by the chemical industry to actually be good for perpetual repeat business, but bad for us and our health.  In contrast, our lotion is water based, and it is designed to sink into the skin to provide healing with natural ingredients.

Keep All Copper Solutions Out of Your Mouth and Away From Children

We discourage people from internally consuming copper supplements.  Copper quickly becomes toxic when more of it is orally consumed than is needed, and it is reported to cause severe organ damage; especially to the kidneys and liver.  This is doubly true for solutions such as ours, which are not purely colloidal, and which contain larger copper particles.  With a healthy diet (especially an organic one), a person should already be getting plenty of dietary copper.  The industry of colloidal copper dietary supplements is one of the many frauds that we hope to someday drive from alternative medicine.

In the meantime, the important thing to remember is that our lotion is for external use only, and it should be kept safe from children who might put it into their mouths.

Does the copper absorb deeply into the body, potentially posing a health threat?

Copper can quickly become toxic with oral ingestion, because it is so easy to overdose with it.  Copper supplementation is generally unwise for this reason.  It is like the situation with iron.  This danger does not exist for the transdermal (skin) absorption of copper.  It has an excellent safety history in regard to people who have had skin exposure to it.  The human body appears to be well equipped to manage the rate of absorption, and the distribution of copper, when it enters the body transdermally.  In other words, you should be fine unless you eat the lotion.  Please keep it away from children, who might put it into their mouths.

Can this be used safely as a general face cream even if there are no skin problems?

Absolutely. This was never its intended purpose, but there is no reason why it should not be used in this way.  Simply use it in small amounts, and as with most products, keep it away from the eyes.  For optimal facial skin results, we recommend using our lotion on a rotating schedule with organic apple cider vinegar.

I found some tiny white specks in the lotion, what are those?

Most of the time, these are particles of chalk that have recombined.  They are totally harmless, and the chalk particles can provide a slight exfoliating effect.  They should just flake off the skin when the lotion dries.

Isn't copper hydroxide corrosive and dangerous?

Copper is an all natural substance, just like the distilled water that the copper is electrically dissolved in.  These are the only two ingredients in our copper hydroxide.  Industrial copper hydroxide is corrosive because it has an alkaline pH.  Our copper hydroxide is pH balanced to have a pH that closely approximates that of healthy human skin (eg. slightly acidic).  Technically, no chemistry is involved.  We merely electrically combine 99.99% pure copper in 99% pure distilled water, and then our other natural ingredients shift the pH.

My child ate the copper lotion!  What should I do?

Don't panic.  You should take action quickly and prudently, but time is on your side.

If caught early, then perform a stomach pump (induce vomiting), and give double doses of selenium supplements several times a day for several days.  We also recommend giving the child a salad containing large amounts of cilantro and garlic, with an olive oil based dressing at least once a day for a week. This blend of ingredients helps to chelate metals out of the body, especially when combined with a neutralizing agent such as selenium.

If not caught early, and long-term ingestion is suspected, or if there are signs of liver toxicity (ie. yellowing of skin or eyes), then follow the instructions above, and seek medical help for implementing chelation therapy.  You may have to insist on chelation therapy, because chelation is the only thing that will undo an overdose of a metal.  On the bright side, chelation is safe and effective.  Don't take no for an answer, and visit another hospital if necessary.  If your doctor seems clueless, then ask him to reference EDTA in his medical literature.  Be sure you take this information (a print out) with you, in case you forget.

We recommend that you blend together the following recipe and have the patient consume one teaspoon of it per day for 10 days to flush the body of metals. (Keep it refrigerated.)

1/2 cup of cold-pressed extra virgin organic olive oil
1 large bunch of cilantro
4 large cloves of garlic

Can I move it to a different container?

You may, but it is not recommended.  Chemicals such as BPA, that leach out of plastics, can cause the formula to break down into a runny, watery solution.  The same thing can happen when the lotion is exposed to too much oxygen.  The watery solution will still be effective, but you are forewarned of the risk of transforming it from a lotion into a runny mess.  The lotion's gelling agents are not as stable as the chemical industry's ingredients, due to the fact that it is made entirely with all-natural ingredients.

I spilled the lotion on something, and it became hard and impossible to remove after it dried.

In the case of clothing, laundering is enough to remove it.  On other surfaces, the pH must be changed to neutralize the gelling agents.  We recommend removing it from furniture and counter-tops by covering it with a layer of baking soda, and then covering that with a damp rag or sponge.  The lotion will easily wipe off between 5 and 10 minutes later.  You can also use vinegar on a rag or sponge, but baking soda usually gives the best results.

There was a bit of leakage during delivery.  Is there a problem with the container?

This is generally only an issue when the bottles are first used and first shipped.  A small amount of baking soda, and a large amount of copper hydroxide are needed for the formula.  To make the formula safe and healthy for human skin, we utilize vitamin C and apple cider vinegar to shift the pH back to the ideal of 6, which is the pH of healthy skin.  The formula's combination of acids and bases (alkaline substances) generally causes some small pressure build-up when the lotion is new.  With normal usage, pressure will not build up enough for any leakage to happen again.

Why does my lotion feel gritty?

This happens with some batches, and it can be a good thing.  The pumice-like grit is comprised of tiny chalk (ie. calcium carbonate) particles, which never fully combined with the guar gum thickener.  The tiny chalk particles act as a pumice to gently yield better penetration into the skin, without harming it.  Any residual particles will easily rub off, once the lotion is absorbed, which tends to be a very rapid process.  Based upon our personal preference, most batches do not contain any noticeable chalk particles, and will have an incredibly smooth texture.  Either way, it is still a unique and extremely high grade lotion.

May I resell the lotion from home, my retail store, etc?

Yes, but you must either ship it inside the original bottle with the original label, or place an easily readable notice on the new container which reads, "Based on the formula by The Health Wyze Report". We also require this notice if the lotion is altered in any way. If you are planning on reselling the lotion in large quantities, then it would be wise to contact us about a bulk pricing arrangement.

What is the legal basis behind the reseller restrictions (above)?

Our lotions are licensed to individual customers, instead of sold. The purpose of licensing is to maintain attribution. The licensing terms permit that the lotions purchased may be generally used and shared, at will, amongst friends and other associates. Purchased lotions may more-or-less be considered as the buyer's property. Restrictions are in place only for resellers.

We have thought about selling it, but we are not sure if there is enough of a demand to merit a large scale operation. Please e-mail us your mailing address and we'll gladly send you some. At that point, you may send us any donation that you feel is appropriate.

The solution turns the color of creamy coffee after around 12 hours, but there is nothing wrong with it - so don't be alarmed by the color change. It happens because the copper continues oxidizing. Take care!

We actually are selling it now. See the banner above. We are still tweaking the formula. The formula used to act like a mood ring of sorts. The color remains fairly stable in the new formulas. The color remains a true copper color more-or-less now, but the consistency changes to more liquidly (less gelled) after about 30 days of use. Even though we're still refining the formula, the important thing to remember is that the core active ingredients: pH-balanced copper hydroxide, colloidal silver, vitamin C, and apple cider vinegar are uneffected by our changes to the inactive gelling agents. We are using pure calcium (obtained from chalk) and food-grade guar gum as the gelling agents now. The two work together chemically, but are literally safe enough to eat. Don't eat the actual lotion, however, because you'll have a toxic overdose of copper like that which happens from iron overdoses. Internally, your body needs copper, but not THAT much.

I was contemplating trying to recreate the lotion at home but I noticed in the comment above you had made a few changes to the formula. Would you be able to write out the revised version or make another video? It would be much appreciated thanks.

We are using version 2 that is currently listed above. We'll change the recipe here if we find more ways to improve it.

Hi there. Thanks for a very informative website. I often quote articles I read on your site and most of my colleagues think i'm loony and conspirational... I keep trying to find out what the NWO is up to in my country but can't put a finger on the key players as yet (apart from the puppets in parliament!)

About your handlotion... would I be able to order this lotion and get it delivered to (still) sunny South Africa?

    Thanks

  • Thomas Corriher
    avatar

Our e-bay listing for the lotion is now fixed to allow international orders. Unfortunately, the shipping costs outside of the United States are usually twice what the lotion costs. We do not know how to lower those rates, but we are looking for a solution. When we find a cheaper way to deliver it outside the U.S. we will implement it.

  • Katrina Elizabeth Wendling
    avatar

    does it smell metallic?

  • Thomas Corriher
    avatar

Not at all. After applying it, if you were to vigorously suck in air whilst cupping your hands around your nose and mouth, then you could smell a sight scent that is like that of copper pipes. In other words, a great deal of effort is required to smell anything at all. With normal usage, nobody will be able to smell anything from the lotion.

We have been considering adding a fragrance, so long as it is safe and natural. We welcome suggestions about that. When we created the lotion formula, our original principal was to keep is simple. If we ever include a scent, it will be clearly noted in the ingredients as a fragrant agent.

When you say to keep it away from the eyes - I would like to use this on the under-eye area (wrinkles) - is this possible?

That should be fine. We just like to err on the side of caution, especially where the eyes are concerned.

I bought this a few weeks ago and have been using it several times a week - the crepey skin on my hands and also my face and neck is slowly dissapearing and the skin is looking much younger and tighter. I would assume this has to do with the increase of collagen that is stimulated by the copper?

I also have a small scar on my face caused by acne that has been fading since I have been using this product.

Would an individual with Wilsons Disease or one of the 1 in 100 who are carriers still be able to use this product?

  • Sarah Cain
    avatar

Wilson's Disease is not something that I have studied extensively. However, it would seem unwise to use our lotion in those people. If the tissues already contain too much copper, then adding more will be unlikely to help at all.

You may want to look into the liver treatment options of our hepatitis article, though.

    avatar

I'd like to use this for help with sports injuries. I play sports and have four very athletic kids who have soft tissue injuries from time to time. I'll let you know how it goes.

I'm also curious if you have knowledge of BXO, which is a chronic inflammatory condition of the meatus, involving the continual creation of scar tissue and results in the opening welding itself shut (I'm attempting to be discreet.) There is no known medical cure, and the condition usually ends in pretty horrific surgeries. Everything I've read seems to point to it being caused by some irritation and continued by the auto-immune process. I'm suffering from this and am steadily trying to find a natural solution. My latest attempt involves, motivated in part by your site, alkalizing. But my curiosity was also sparked by your lotion. What do you think? Would it be safe for a condition/application like this? Do you have other recommendations for this condition? Any info would be helpful. I and many others with this condition are feeling a bit desperate.

    avatar

How can I have it shipped to me without it getting cold? I noticed you said if it gets cold, it solidifies. Thanks so much. I have been enjoying your website and have been learning so much. Thanks again.

  • Sarah Cain
    avatar

With colloidal metals, getting them too cold can be a problem sometimes because the metal will clump together, causing it to become larger particles. We're concerned that that might make the lotion slightly less effective, but we don't think that the cold temperatures will destroy it. It is more of an issue with colloidal metals that are taken internally, such as colloidal silver. We haven't had any complaints, despite shipping it throughout winter this year.

  • Sarah Cain
    avatar

We removed our notice about avoiding cold temperatures. We assumed that cold temperatures were to be avoided because they have been known to make colloidal silver less effective. We were just playing it as better-safe-than-sorry. We have never had a report of problems due to low temperatures in the two years that we have sold this lotion, so the warning has been removed.

I recently purchased your lotion, and I must say I'm quite pleased that I have!

Hot dang, no other product has been able to restore my hands from all the damage caused by industrial soaps. It's been so effective in other places also when other things have failed. I've recommended it to others, who notice a difference when given samples of the product.

One thing I've noticed is a slight vinegary smell, but I don't find it to be quite so bad as some do. All in all, thanks again for coming up with this!!

I cannot imagine what I just learned here. You guys can make your own lotion? That's not the hardest part.

The hardest part is that you guys are so sure about not getting into any legal trouble that the authorities could create for you anytime.

How do you make sure your wordings are safe from prosecution?

And I take the first point back, concoct your own solution does sound very difficult. How do you get these information?

Can you point us to the raw data of many of the finding you got in this website?

I knew many of it must be true the first time I hear it, but I would like to know how you manage to dig them out.

When presented truthfully, biology, chemical, and medicine aren't boring, the difference is amazing.

If I haven't been refreshed by this website, I wouldn't have thought it wasn't me, but the liars who made information boring.

In fact, we were intentionally dumbed down and distracted, so we get bored easily.

Unfortunately, I can't even link to studies without placing myself at risk. However, if you research copper, and "collagen" and "elastin", you should find plenty of information.

Most of our articles have sources linked throughout, but this one has to be an exception. We can't legally claim to cure or aid in any disease, but only in ailments that frequently occur (such as dry skin).

Am I imagining it or what? After about 1 month of using the lotion, age spots are dissapearing from my hands, arms, face, legs and decolete.
    It seems miraculous.

  • Sarah Cain
    avatar

Thank you for the feedback. We hadn't considered that it would help with age spots, but I had noticed that a couple of flat moles that I used to have disappeared after using the lotion. I had assumed that it was a coincidence. So, that's really interesting.

Be advised that we're not allowed to make claims, and even if we were allowed, we wouldn't consider this conclusive evidence. Nevertheless, it is interesting and we'll definitely be keeping watch for other reports. Thanks again.

I'm taking 2.5 mg. of copper everyday to regain my natural hair color. I heard it can do this, I'm tired of root touch ups. Is this a fallacy? Is that dosage something to wory about? If so, I'd like to try this cream, especially on my face.

  • Sarah Cain
    avatar

Taking copper internally is risky, and we recommend against it, because it's easy to take a toxic amount. Only very trace amounts are found in foods. Fortunately, there has never been a case of copper overdose from transdermal copper.

I'm very interested in this lotion. I was about to buy a serum containing copper peptides but it's all expensive and even the ones that contain 'no parabens' I suspect still contain other not so kosher ingredients.

I'm also curious to know whether it can eliminate spider veins?
If you don't know, I can try them out and report you the results.

I was initially going to buy DMSO (Dimethyl sulfoxide) because it penetrates deep into the skin and it can carry other drugs/substances across the membranes. (What it will carry depends on the molecular weight, shape, and electrochemistry of the molecules. ).

But maybe that would be dangerous to use in combination with your copper colloidal lotion?

  • Sarah Cain
    avatar

We have not heard any reports of people using it for spider veins, so I'm completely unable to comment. Sorry that I can't be of more use. If you do decide to try the lotion, please let us know how it goes.

We wouldn't recommend using DMSO in combination with the lotion, and honestly, it doesn't seem necessary. The lotion sinks in fairly quickly and does not leave an oily feeling like a lot of store-bought lotions.

I've been using this lotion for a couple of weeks and my results are amazing. It has completely healed several small lesions that I've had for years (result of sun damage, I think) and has dramatically improved the overall texture of my skin wherever I have applied it. The skin on my face is becoming even in color, and I believe age spots are fading as well. I have 61 year old skin so your lotion is definitely getting a challenge here. After such a short period of use the difference in my skin is amazing.

Thanks for this wonderful product; I have recommended it to my sisters and am acquiring a lifetime supply for myself!

I just received my lotion. Thank you! I'm excited about using it. My question is for my sister. She is only 50 years old and her skin is tissue thin. She has to wear gloves and long sleeves, but still damages her skin regularly. The doctors give her no explanations why her skin is so thin at her age. She has done some research on her own and did find where anti-depressants may cause skin to bruise. She does take these. Have you seen or heard of this lotion helping with this problem? Would you see any reason for it to be a problem for her to use since her skin is thin? Thanks for all the information here. I'm on a quest to get healthy! Thanks! Linda

  • Sarah Cain
    avatar

    Hey Linda;

If her skin is really thin, then you really need to find the cause of it. It is a symptom of a serious health problem, and if exposure to the causative chemical is still ongoing, the situation can only get worse. She would also benefit from reading our articles on depression and antidepressants. They are truly terrible drugs, and the topic of our next movie, 'Prescription For Manslaughter'.

The first person to try our lotion had extremely thin, damaged skin due to exposure to dishwasher chemicals on a routine basis. The lotion did not hurt his skin, and in fact helped it to heal. Copper is one of the few substances that can thicken the skin.

    Hi Sarah,

    Thanks for the great info.
I have a function generator myself. I'd like to try this . Is yours too? CAn you highlight what sort of specs /output you use to enable the copper / copper hydroxide.
Btw, May I ask why is your colloidal silver looked so dark? Did you make them yourself too?

Lol..I'd like to just order the thing but to ship to my place which is in Asia is double the price not to mention the exchange rate...In total, almost 6X your nominal stated online price!

  • Sarah Cain

We do not make our own silver, because particle size and quantity is so important. Instead, we trust Utopia Silver Supplements for our silver, and it appears to be the best around.

It is a shame that shipping is so high abroad, but unfortunately, there is nothing else that we can do. Such prices greatly hinder American trade, and we have little doubt that such is intentional by the powers-that-be.

Thanks Sarah, I ordered the lotion for my sister, but I'm afraid getting her to let go of the anti-depressants will be a very hard battle. I've tried for years to get her to stop drinking Diet Cokes. She also takes medication for high blood pressure. I hope with all my heart the lotion will help her, but I totally understand getting to the root of the problem first. Thanks so much. Linda

We bump into lots of hard-heads like your sister. It reminds me of the old adage about doing the same thing repeatedly, while getting the same result, but always expecting to get a different result as a sure sign of insanity. The world of "modern" medicine is entirely based on insanity. If it were truly scientific and evidence based, as they like to claim, then all current methods would have been scraped as quackery long ago. It is scientifically applied in a sense, because the real business agenda isn't really to get us healthy, which would eliminate business altogether. We get people who mock us as idiotic fools, but these same people are on diabetic medications, heart medications, about a half a dozen other pills, cannot hardly move, in constant suffering, spending thousands on "medicine" every year with no improvements whatsoever, and look about 20 years older than they should -- but they are nevertheless qualified to lecture us about health -- and I'm talking doctors too. We're the opposite: we all look 10 years younger than we are expected to look, our only expense is supplements, and we are as healthy as race horses; which of course, makes US the fools. It's really incredible. Understanding the people who obediently return to modern "medicine" repeatedly, when they know of alternatives, requires a study of pathological psychology and brain washing to understand.

I agree Thomas. My sister is a very sweet, caring person and my only sibling. Since both our parents are gone, she is so important to me and I don't plan on giving up on her. The trouble is there is so much I don't know. I just found your website and it's kinda blown me away. I've struggled with gaining and losing weight most of my life and never read anything like I've read here. Since I've found you, I'm taking the flax seed oil, selenium, coconut oil and a few other things. I now have sea salt and natural deodorant. This is a lot of information here and I was wondering if there is a place that basically tells what each of you do as far as supplements go. I want to do as much as I can as quick as I can and it's a little mind boggling for me at the moment. One question I do have is about the flax seed oil - is it ok to get the organic oil in the bottle if it's cold pressed and refrigerated at the time of purchase. Thanks for all the info and showing us the right directions. Linda

    avatar

One of the largest producers of copper based skin care products is Procyte Corporation (aka Simple Solutions Skin Care). Their website has many scientific paper references for using copper in treatment of wounds and skin problems. They make ER burn dressings with copper and many medical skin care products, including veterinary wound products, with copper. You can find these references at

:) for those that are interested in scientific support for the use of copper in skin lotions.

  • Daniel  - question regarding usage
    avatar

    Hey guys,

Just received my bottle of lotion a couple of days ago and have begun to apply it to the mild Psoriasis on my knees. The dead skin there is pretty thick, should I do a heavy exfoliation, i.e. emery board. I started using the product right away but it doesn't seem to be penetrating the dead skin very well. Also how often should I be applying?

On a side note and a plus side, I have had a problem with my knees for quite some time. During flare ups both knees are quite painful, and for the past three years I have had a marble size lump on my right knee that would swell to walnut size during flare ups. I have been using the lotion for 3 days now and the lump is gone! The steroids my doctor prescribed didn't do that after a month of use, and I was told it is scar tissue that would always be there. Also, I have been applying more lotion to the knee that used to have the lump, as the Psoriasis is worse there, and not only was there no lump, but the pain was almost non-existent. I'm impressed, thank you so much.

That's great news about the lump on your knee, thanks for the feedback. In regards to the dead skin, you would probably benefit from taking some niacin. Niacin can create some bizarre effects, so be sure and read the article before using it. After using it for a while, you'll notice the dead skin peeling off at incredible rates when rubbed in the shower.

There is no "dosage" for the lotion, but the skin tends to have a saturation threshold, so using it more than three times a day probably won't yield any results. Skin and joint issues can take years to develop, so the healing process could take days, weeks, or even months, depending on your particular case.

The supplements that are recommended in our joint pain article may help you, too. MSM in particular can help you repair damaged cartilage, which the medical establishment claims is impossible.

  • Jocelyn  - Safe for infants?
    avatar

Hi Thomas and Sarah! I'm assuming this is safe for infants but because of the copper I thought I should ask y'all what you thought before I put it on my 7 month old. I'm ordering it for her because I've noticed dry patches on her back and neck. She is constantly scratching her neck which has caused bleeding, scabbing and made it even more red. It really isn't too bad (yet) but my dad and sister have both dealt with psoriasis so I'd like to find something to help her now before she gets older and it possibly gets worse.

Safety should not be an issue, as long as it is used externally. It sounds like your daughter has an immune system problem, which is likely caused by a vaccine. If so, then she may have a hyperactive immune system now. She might get sick often, because her immune system is under unnatural stress, and it could stay that way for many years.

If possible, you should seek out a safer soap at a health food store. If that is not an option, then get plain (unscented) ivory, because it tends to be safer than other soaps. Avoid dryer sheets, and seek a laundry detergent from a health food store that has less or no harsh chemicals. We strongly recommend only cotton clothing and bedding. Avoid clothing and bedding that are dyed black.

There may also be fungal or nutritional issues at play. Soy formulas are particularly bad; especially for girls. There is no good substitute for breast milk.

There are just too many possible causes and problems for us to print it all here. Please contact us to begin an investigation. We will be happy to call you if you give us your phone number. The contact link is at the top of the page.

Thanks so much for your quick response and your personal help. Appreciate it! On a sidenote regarding zinc, I was reading about it on your site and am upset I didn't know about supplementing with it while pregnant. Granted, it may not have changed anything, but maybe it would have. My daughter was born with a condition called microtia and appears to have some very mild asymmetry in her jaw, which appears to have possibly affected her teeth, because of it. I'll never know if zinc supplementation might have prevented it. =(

I love LOVE your lotion! I've struggled for years trying to find something decent, even making my own as I hate the toxic lotions on the market. I resorted to using simple Castor Oil (Edgar Cayce) which was fine, great for my skin, but hard to apply, etc.

I bought your lotion (I'm a big fan of your work) because I was experiencing extreme itching and rash-like bumps on my back. And strangely a week prior I started taking Diatomaceous Earth (based on your research) and soon after began expelling long white strands (I can only assume they are worms)in my stool. Of course I was/remain horrified but thankful to you that I have the knowledge to remedy the situation myself. So I’ve concluded that the rash was likely caused by internal parasites and BOTH your lotion AND your recommendations on D.E. have helped tremendously.

I cannot share long term results since I just started using your lotion but so far it's the best and my skin feels softer than it ever has. People say I smell like brown sugar :)
I did add some castor oil yesterday and the combination works great for me as I avail of the benefits of all of the ingredients.

Thank you for your work. My personal regret is not knowing for most of my 42 years how we are bombarded with poisons that slip into our lives under the guise of being healthy and safe. I’ve maintained an organic diet for over 20 years (as finances have been able to support) but even that has not been enough. I ate soy products like crazy because I had learned they were good for me. After studying your articles and research I’ve conducted on my own I went for weeks feeling like I didn’t want to eat or drink anything - water in plastic bottles or from the tap and the myriad issues with foods; eye drops even! I didn’t want to shower or use my soaps or wash my clothes in the detergents I had.

I’ve since thrown away the chemicals I had in my home including soaps and detergents, bought a water filter (though still not convinced it’s dong it’s job) and am extremely careful with what I buy for foods. Going out to eat used to be one of my favorite things to do, but that I do on occasion now – no choice as I see it. Now I am trying to come to terms with the anger I feel at being lied to and exposed sneakily to thousands of toxic, harmful chemicals in almost every single item I’ve touched, ingested, been exposed to all of my life and having my health put at risk by “the powers that be”. I can’t seem to let that anger go.

I do want to thank you again for all that you both do. Knowledge is everything. All the best to you and if you’re ever interested in taking your lotion to market, I’d love to help you do that.
