Cancer Revisited: The Industry Suppressed Budwig Regimen or How To Cure Cancer With Cottage Cheese
| Written by Sarah Cain Saturday, 03 October 2009 16:10 |
Cancer is probably the topic which generates the most interest amongst our readership. We wrote extensively about the fraudulent cancer industry in issue 1 of Naturally Good Magazine, in the article titled, The Link Between Body pH and Disease. It is highly recommended as something to read before beginning your own research. We ended the article with reference pointers to information which people may use to conduct their own research about how to help themselves. We know, as should you, that if people are not willing to proactively help themselves, then all of our writing is in vain. If people blindly obey their doctors, as if their doctors were high priests (modern doctors are very close to being exactly that), then there is nothing that we can really do to help. Therefore, we do not even try to be a complete and definitive source of information. In other words, we're here to teach you how to fish; not provide you with fish. Until recently, we figured that what we had written in the magazine was enough. We believed that it was quite comprehensive, and that we did not need to touch the topic again for a very long time. Judging from reader input, perhaps we were wrong. Perhaps it was not enough. We apologize.
"I have the answer to cancer, but American doctors won't listen. They come here and observe my methods and are impressed. Then they want to make a special deal so they can take it home and make a lot of money. I won't do it, so I'm blackballed in every country."
― Dr. Johanna Budwig
Saint Johanna
Meet Dr. Johanna Budwig. She left us in 2003, at the ripe age of 95, but she looked like she was in her 70's. She was nominated six times for the Nobel Prize for medicine, which means that it would be wise to take her health work seriously. We call her a saint, but doctors-in-the-know thought of her as a god. Did we mention that she cured cancer ― not treated ― but cured it in "terminally ill" patients; even patients which the establishment had surrendered to fate, claimed were "untreatable", and gave a death sentence to? We're not talking about specific or rare types of cancer either. She cured whatever type of cancer that was thrown at her, and she did it relatively quickly, cheaply, easily, and permanently; using non-toxic ingredients, which were without any side-effects whatsoever. Her medicine actually made her patients stronger, and her cure rate was over 90%, including the worst "terminal" cases. You read that right; we did indeed say that her permanent cure rate was over 90%. Did we mention no side-effects? Dr. Bugwig's successes greatly contrast the facts that the life-long cure rate from standard chemotherapy is less than 4% for most types of cancer, and that chemotherapy is known to cause future cancers. We have not mentioned the most incredible aspect that is still being suppressed by the lucrative cancer industry: Dr. Budwig's secret weapons against cancer were common cottage cheese and flax seed oil. She quickly became enemy #1 to the pharmaceutical and nuclear industries. They did not like the prospect of people having the choice between their debilitating and bankrupting treatments, or simply opening their refrigerator for a cure. They have been so effective at suppressing her Noble Prize worthy work, that for many of our readers, this will be their first instance of learning of the good doctor, or her famous Budwig Diet. Her bombshell findings were first published in the early 1950's. Anyone want to make a bet as to when major networks like Fox News and ABC News are going to cover this story? We're betting never. They're team players.
Everything You've Been Told About Cancer is a Lie
First and foremost, cancer is not merely an outbreak of tumors. We know the establishment treats them as the same, but it would be a waste of time and space to go there. We have more important things to discuss in this article than cataloging their (often intentional) stupidity and incompetence. For now, we'll simply state that perpetual treatments (creating life-long customers) is the overall goal, instead of curing. You see, a dead patient is not profitable, nor is a healthy patient. The money is made somewhere in the middle ― patients who are alive ― barely. Cancer is essentially a modern man-made disease. There is evidence of it existing in ancient history, but cancer was extremely rare in ancient history, except in cities with cases of mass poisoning (again a man-made disease). Now, cancer is expected to strike one person out of every three, and this rate is rising rapidly.
The Unholy Cancer Trinity
Toxins, radiation, and acidosis are the unholy trinity of cancer. The combined damage from toxins, radiation, malnutrition (often caused by pharmaceuticals), and illness leads to acidosis, which is the final stage of this misunderstood condition. When a person's body chemistry becomes acidic from the aforementioned factors, then his blood's ability to retain and carry oxygen is severely diminished. Healthy individuals have a blood oxygen level of between 98 and 100 as measured by a pulse oximeter, but cancer patients routinely show around 60. Oxygen is replaced in a cancer patient's blood with wastes such as carbon dioxide. The oxygen starvation caused by acidosis leads to the formation of tumors as cells must mutate to derive their energy from a fermentation process. Normal cells obtain energy from oxygen, but oxygen-starved cells must mutate to using a type of direct sugar fermentation, which is really the body's self defense. Of course, this is not as "clean" as oxygen-based energy, and the waste products of fermentation build in the tissues causing even higher toxicity. Eventually the entire immune system is debilitated by the process of cleaning these wastes, so that it can no longer cope with the removal of unhealthy cells. This allows the cancer cells to multiply and spread unchecked to create the symptom of tumors, which is in the latter stages of this process.
All the above was proved by Dr. Otto Warburg, and he won the Nobel Prize for it in 1931. Funny you've never heard about it, huh? Are you still walking for the cure? Don't worry, we felt horribly suckered when we learned too. Meanwhile, the industry is still murdering people for profit, while "searching for the cure".
The secret to beating cancer is that life-giving breath of God ― oxygen. Technically, it is not that simple, but it is almost that simple. The real trick is getting the oxygen into the deep tissue cells, and getting them to "eat" it again. Dr. Budwig's regimen is just one of many for stimulating that.
Most cancer cures (not treatments) involve adjusting the body's pH beyond neutral, and into an alkaline state. In the alkaline state, human blood is rich in oxygen, and this same oxygen is poisonous to all mutated cancer (fermenting) cells. Oxygen is, of course, harmless to healthy cells ― and we're not going into that whole free radical thing here ― except to say that oxygen is never an issue with a healthy (anti-cancer) diet. Whilst naturally mocked by the industry, the generalized anti-cancer alkalizing diets are effective, and certainly merit further reading.
Dr. Budwig found a way to do it better and faster. She turbo-charged her anti-cancer diet with a solution made from common flax seed oil and cottage cheese. She discovered that even the so-called "healthy" (fat free) diets were a huge part of the problem. (We'll cover the cholesterol scam later.) Her regimen eliminated the damaging fats and foods from the diet that cause cellular oxygen starvation, and replaced them with healing foods, and life-saving essential fatty acids. Along with diet, she emphasized the benefits of sunlight, the natural source of the anti-cancer vitamin D3, and stress reduction. The power of sunlight (Vitamin D3) cannot be overstated.
"Without these fatty acids, the respiratory enzymes cannot function and the person suffocates, even when he is given oxygen-rich air. A deficiency in these highly unsaturated fatty-acids impairs many vital functions. First of all, it decreases the person's supply of available oxygen. We cannot survive without air and food; nor can we survive without these fatty acids. That has been proven long ago."
― Dr. Johanna Budwig
The Budwig Anti-Cancer Regimen (a.k.a. "The Budwig Diet")
There are 2 stages of the Budwig Diet. One of them is a natural medicine, which is a blend of something containing high amounts of sulfur proteins, and flax seed oil to provide omega-3. Fish oil (for omega-3) is avoided because of the risks of contamination, and because a body will synthesize exactly the correct amount of omega-3 from flax seed oil to give the cells the right proportion of omega-3 to omega-6. This medicine is normally taken orally, but in the most severe cases, Dr. Budwig was also known to have given it in enema form too. The other stage of the Budwig Diet is the diet itself. Dramatic results are usually seen within 90 days. Patients should continue the regimen for 6 months, regardless of a lack of symptoms.
The Medicine (thoroughly mixed together, and taken orally once a day at bare minimum):
- 1 cup pure cottage cheese (or unsweetened and unflavored yogurt). Organic versions are strongly preferred. This ingredient provides the sulfur proteins. Yogurt is actually preferred, because it will simultaneously suppress candida yeast, strengthen the immune system, and help with the absorption of nutrients.
- 2-5 Tbsp. of flax seed oil, or about 10 supplement capsules, or 1-3 Tbsp. of freshly ground flaxseed (a coffee grinder works fine and use enough water to make it soft)
- little cayenne
optional:
- little garlic
- little red pepper
- little champagne (for the worst cases ― always given in the first couple of days)
The Diet:
- SUGAR IS ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN. Grape juice may be added to sweeten any other freshly squeezed juices.
- No animal fats
- No commercial salad dressings or toppings
- No commercial mayonnaise (bastardized, radioactive, genetically engineered, corn and soy oils)
- No meats unless organic (chemicals & hormones)
- No butter
- No margarine
- Freshly squeezed vegetable juices are fine, especially carrot, celery, apple, and red beet. Truly all natural juice drinks are okay, with special preference to completely organic drinks.
- Three times daily a warm tea is essential. Good choices are peppermint, rose hips or grape tea. Sweeten them only with honey. One cup of black tea before noon is fine. The Health Wyze Report Staff particularly recommends green tea with honey and lemon juice.
- Avoid all sugars (including high-fructose corn syrup)
- Chemical free diet
- Avoid all processed foods
- Attempt to wean off all pharmaceuticals
- Avoid all soft drinks, and diet drinks are even more dangerous
- Avoid tap water, and use products free of fluoride (We suggest natural spring water)
- Eat all food fresh ― no reheating and no leftovers
Additional Staff Suggestions:
- The flax seed oil must be protected from heat and light
- The flax seed oil must be cold pressed, and should be organic
- No microwaving food
- Avoid hydrogenated oils
- Take chlorophyll supplements
- Drink the green drink regularly, to ensure proper nutrition
- Specifically eat an alkalizing diet
- Use a nebulizer to inhale 3% hydrogen peroxide mist for people with lung conditions
- Take a massive dose of Vitamin C daily ― purchased only from a reputable health food store
- Avoid sun screens, cosmetics, and typical toxic lotions found at regular retailers
- Avoid white bread, white rice, white flour, and anything else bleached
- Avoid "table" salt and get high quality unbleached sea salt from a health food store
- Avoid detoxifying when the person is severely ill or unstable
- Get a high grade water filter for shower water
- Drink alkalized or spring water
- Find safer alternatives to common soaps, bleaches, and detergents (health food stores)
- Fight candida
- Avoid all vaccines
- Use Vitamin B17 (for really horrible cases)
- Avoid your doctor. Seriously.
- Avoid soy products and canola oil
- Use iodine transdermally (but beware of providone iodine)
- Take a teaspoon of cold pressed organic coconut oil daily
- For deathly ill patients, see a specialist, such as a naturopathic doctor (N.D.), who can provide I.V.'s, including hydrogen peroxide I.V.'s if necessary.
- Use our oxygen drink several times a day
The oxygen drink (several times a day):
8 oz. spring water
2 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1-2 tsp. of 3% hydrogen peroxide (wait until all fizzing has stopped before adding, and be very gentle)
We thank the people behind http://www.aspartame.ca for condensing and making much of the information used in this report easily accessible. We included a couple of small sections of their work in this document verbatim.

Thanks Philip. We wish that we had more comments that were as informative as your's was. We noticed that you are a chiropractor. We see one ourselves. I have a somewhat unique misalignment, and Thomas is not as young and resilient as he used to be. Tom's wife Andrea visits on rare occasions too. Anyway, for years we have been seeking a chiropractor who would either write for us, or be willing to be interviewed for our research. We would love to make you our resident expert. We will be standing by, in case you are open to the idea.
By the way (and this is embarrassing) we actually neglected to include the part about blending the flax oil and cottage cheese together. We will immediately correct that inside the story, because some people will not read these comments.

There are many variations of the Budwig protocol that work well. In my experience, the absolute best method, while more expensive and labor intensive than others, is made to be as fresh as possible when consumed.
I start with raw milk, which may or may not be available in your area. It's hard to find in atlanta, but it is available. (http://www.carltonfarm.com)
I use the fresh raw milk to make yogurt, using a yogurt maker (about $40) and yogurt starter. This makes fresh, raw, whole milk yogurt.
Next, I use flax seed oil capsules from Standard Process Inc., marketed as Linium B6 (http://www.standardprocess.com/display/displayFile.aspx?docid=123&filename=/ Public/Lit/TabSheets/linumb65340.pdf) It's been mentioned that flax seed oil is incredibly fragile and must be protected from light, heat, and oxygen. Standard Process uses a low-temperature extraction process and packages their flax seed oil in pearls, which keeps the oil as fresh as possible until the moment you break the pearl.
Then, blend the ingredients in a high-speed blender (i use the magic bullet, since i'm only making one serving at a time) until the mixture reaches uniform consistency.
This is truly an elixir of life!

Never have I witnessed such an immediate conversion of an acidic state of the body to an alkaline state so quickly. The Budwig flax oil and cottage cheese mixture will do that as soon as you start it. Cancer cannot survive in such an alkaline environment. Try this test. Get some ph strips or liquid drops and test your urine daily to get a base line, then start the mixture, half a cup a day. My favorite recipe is: 8 oz. low-fat cottage cheese, 8 oz. fat free plain yogurt, 8 oz. flax oil, and 1-2 tbls of honey. Mix in a blender until oil disappears. Store balance in fridge. This makes enough for 6 days. Then test your urine. It is truly phenomenal.

2010-05-05 22:29:42 | Sarah Cain

Thanks for your input, Shelley. I'm glad that you have been able to alkalize yourself using this protocol. However, I would generally not recommend your approach for a cancer patient. The fats that are available in normal cottage cheese and yogurt are vitally important, and were used by Johanna Budwig to allow oxygen to penetrate the cells. Without them, the cancer protocol would be very ineffective.
In addition, it is important that you consume this medicine whilst it is still fresh. In the case of yogurt, it is known to go bad very quickly, and you will not be able to observe this if it is mixed with other ingredients. Flax seed oil goes rancid even more quickly (within hours) when exposed to heat, air and light, so it should be made immediately before consumption. You may be interested in this article, which talks about it.
Overall, we like your recipe, and may consider doing it ourselves at some point. However, we would recommend only consuming it when it is fresh, because rancid flax seed oil is a carcinogen, with no benefits.

The recipe on the cancertutor.com website calls for low-fat cottage cheese. If you can find any original Budwig literature that specifically addresses the necessity of high fat content of the cheese, I would love to hear about it.
-
2010-05-07 13:30:26 | Sarah Cain

When Johanna began her protocol, there was no such thing as "low fat" cottage cheese. In fact, she used quark, which is similar to cottage cheese, and has about the same fat content as full-fat yogurt. Quark is naturally lower in fat than most cheeses, whilst commercial low fat products are made with low fat milk, which is actually unhealthy.
It was the fats that are inside quark (and cottage cheese), which contain sulfur proteins that are essential for the benefits of the Budwig Diet.

Do everything that you can. Otherwise, it is going to spread like wildfire, because they cut it. Knowing their help to harm ratio (kill to cure): I would make sure that there are no "follow-up treatments", if all all possible, and I would work with the body, instead of against it. I hope that you are a man of faith, who will consult the greatest physician of all. I probably don't need to tell you what their continued sorcery ("experimental" medicine) will do, for you are probably seeing it clearly for yourself.
We'd recommend against glutathione. You don't want a cancer patient shielded from oxygen. The very basis of most effective anti-cancer protocols is getting oxygen to penetrate deeply into tissues, where there is oxygen starvation. The use of glutathione shows a fundamental misunderstanding of what cancer is, and it will impede progress. Since regular vitamins do the same thing (to a lesser degree) we consider glutathione to be an alternative medicine health fraud. Don't go there. Really. It's another one of those "miracle cures" that does everything -- if you know what I mean.

Thank you so much for the article, very informative! I'm wondering if it would change the effectiveness of the cottage cheese flax oil mixture if I added raw honey for taste?
-
2010-07-13 01:05:51 | Sarah Cain

I see no reason why honey would inhibit the effectiveness. Honey is one of the few sweeteners that are okay for cancer patients to use. Honey is actually anti-bacterial and anti-fungal, which would slow down the fermentation process which cancer thrives on, which means that the cancer would also slow down.

2010-07-30 10:03:21 | Thomas Corriher

Sweeteners are not needed, and they are a very bad idea for cancer patients. Cancer cells thrive on a fermentation process similar to yeasts. Some people are now claiming that it is exactly the same thing, in fact. We are reserving judgment on this until there is more information. In any case, all sweeteners, even the 'healthy' sweeteners with very low glycemic indexes should be avoided. On the other hand, if you happen to be a healthy (non cancerous) person, who is merely augmenting your nutrition with some 'Budwig Supplementation', then it does not really matter if you add a little sweetener. Feel free to use whatever you want in this latter case. We have found that nothing has a better benefit-to-harm ratio than honey. It really is a gift from God.
You may wish to reference the article we wrote about diabetes to see just how many (sometimes intentional) misconceptions there are about sweeteners and blood sugar.

2010-07-30 10:15:59 | Thomas Corriher

The Budwig protocol depends upon fats. Fats are the source of the necessary sulfur proteins, and likely other things we don't even know about yet.
It is often those "fat free" diets that lead to cancers in the first place.
We really need to write about this topic. I am reminded of a part of the Bible that we cited in our "God's Nutrition" article, where supposedly God commanded that the Christ should only eat "the good", which meant a diet emphasizing honey and butter. Would you believe that honey is one of the things that is useful in curing diabetes, or that butter can help to cure heart disease? It's just the opposite of what we've been told by our "experts", but the research confirms these things over and over. It's incredible, and sometime I feel like we're living 'The X-Files'.

You can use peroxide from regular grocery stores, but they often contain chemical stabilizers. On the 'active ingredients' section of the label, you will see "(stabilized)" next to the mention of hydrogen peroxide.
It is best to purchase food grade peroxide from a health food store to avoid this. This is especially important if you are using it for something as serious as cancer.

I don't know what dosage to give him. does anyone know a safe dosage for someone with his condition? I would appreciate it if someone could give me links to other reliable articles on Budwig Diet.

Hey Edrienne;
You would have to have a really high dose of flax for it to have any weakening effect on the liver. The standard dosing would still apply (1 cup cottage cheese with 2-5 TB flax seed oil). Use this once a day at bare minimum.
Also, the green drink will be of great use in making your father feel better, by providing the nutrition that he needs.
As far as other articles go, the reason that we wrote this one is that we couldn't find any that did a satisfactory job elsewhere.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

The original formula did use quark cheese, however, cottage cheese is much more readily available in the U.S., and has a similar make-up. Johanna's writings explained that quark was used because of its sulfur proteins, which is something that cottage cheese also contains.
You are welcome to use quark cheese, of course. Cottage cheese is chosen only because of its increased availability.

Thank you for this information! I am interested in the yogurt/flax combination, just for the alkaline-inducing properties as a supplement. When using whole flaxseed, should the 'water to make it soft' be added as part of the grinding process? Or stirred in afterward? Thanks!

2011-04-26 21:38:02 |IP:76.87.47.xxx| April - Surgery while on Budwig Diet

Hello. I’m, 64 years old and I was diagnosed with stage 3 uterine cancer. I’ve been on the Budwig diet for 3 months with good results. I’m going to have a surgery next month (total hysterectomy). I had a CTscan recently which showed no signs of metastasis. I may also have a biopsy of the bladder during the surgery. Can someone please tell me what to do, relative to my Budwig Diet, before and after surgery? I just learned that flax oil has blood thinning properties. Can I resume taking this diet right after surgery? Will I lose the effectiveness of this diet after surgery?
-
2011-04-27 14:13:02 | Sarah Cain

The doctors won't tell you this, but cutting into a cancerous region is the fastest way to spread it. The diet will not cause you any danger, even directly after surgery. Its effect on blood thinning is mild. The diet will continue to help you after surgery. In addition to its usefulness in regards to cancer, it is also good for maintaining health. We use it daily, despite having no health conditions. Take care.

Thanks very much, Sarah. Were you referring to surgery or the biopsy cutting into a possible cancerous area and spreading? Would it be safer to cancel the biopsy or the surgery? However, I'm still having some occasional bleeding. Is it ok to stop the diet 10 days before surgery? (Bleeding concerns me because last year, I had a kidney mass removal and I needed a blood transfusion.) Sorry to repeat myself but can the diet be resumed right after the post-op liquid diet? Is there some inner cleansing that I can do before I resume the diet? By the way, with the Budwig diet, I notice that I'm also growing new hair and some white ones are turning into black. Interesting. Thanks again for any additional help.

Sarah, you mentioned using the flax seed capsules (which I bought yesterday even before I saw this article) Do I still need to blend the capsules with the cottage cheese in a blender? Just throw the capsules in or break them first and get the oil out? Do you lose a lot of the benefit if I just eat the cottage cheese and take the capsules with it? Thanks for this website.

I have read your article but I have a few questions. You recommend using Hydrogen Peroxide and high doses of Vitamin C, and this is completly against Dr. Budwigs recomondations. I have been looking into this myself to help out a friend with emphysema and breast cancer. Can you please tell me where you got these facts? I would truly love to do both of them, but was warned not to.

Hey Susan;
Peroxide was not part of the Budwig diet, but rather one of the additional staff suggestions. For more on our opinions and research of this, you may wish to read: The Relationship Between Body pH and Disease (and other facts you're not supposed to know).
The research on vitamin C's use for cancer came largely from the research of Linus Pauling, and his published works.

It's amazing how hard it is to find full fat cottage cheese and yogurt. Everything is low fat or fat free. The highest cottage cheese I could find is 4% milk fat. My question is about the flax seed oil. Does it have to be in capsules? I purchased it in the refrigerated section of a health food store. Organic and comes in a black plastic bottle. Thanks, Linda

Capsules are best for avoiding rancidity. The product that you speak of is probably okay, given the color of the bottle, but it's not something that we feel comfortable recommending.
Cottage cheese is very hard to find without additives, and with full fat. Finding "Plain yogurt" (organic, if possible) is generally much easier.

2011-07-06 22:28:54 |IP:74.199.106.xxx| Mitchell - I wish I knew what to do

My mother went in to the hospital this past Monday. She was acting very strange, confused, didn't know what time it was or what day it was among other things. She was diagnosed with colon cancer in October of 2006, she has been through a lot of chemotherapy. As of now her white cell count is extremely low , somewhere around 0.6. He hemoglobin is also low and she has had some kidney problems. She has an infected tooth that her oncologists have now said they are not even going to have it removed because there isn't time. They have said she is in stage 4 and at the end of that stage. It has spread into her lungs, back, legs and back to her stomach.
For awhile I have thought there must be another way and that oncologists are only in it for the money and are grunts for the FDA and big pharmaceutical companies. She seems very out of it very disconnected.
I researched DCA and thought I had found a good thing but then I found the bad stuff about it. I am now here and have read about the Budwig diet. Is it too late for this, and if not how do I give her this while she is in the hospital. With doctors who dont approve and family thinking im crazy if they were to catch me doing it.

2011-07-15 16:33:21 |IP:71.131.5.xxx| vernh - Quark alternative

Your and many other sites suggest cottage cheese or yogurt as American alternative to QUARK. Since those are made from cow's milk (which is high in protein and thus acid forming) might it be well to substitute goat or sheep yogurt (which are alkaline forming) to provide the sulfur proteins?
-
2011-07-22 20:47:12 | Thomas Corriher

The sulfur proteins are what matter most. Usually a soft medium is used for thorough mixing of the oil and the sulfur-providing component. Theoretically, eggs would provide some benefit.
As far as acid forming foods go, with the Budwig Diet, one needs not worry about becoming acidic, so it's never an issue with the Budwig protocol. The diet itself will keep one alkaline regardless of whether dairy products are used with the flax oil.

Feel free to read the studies until you are dizzy. For best results, I recommend utilizing a new technology known as "public libraries", or the competing technology known as "book stores". While you are there, be sure to look-up the 1931 Nobel Prize for Medicine, which was awarded for discovering the singular root cause of all cancers (which the steps from this article neutralize). With you being a "real doctor", I'll bet that you don't even know about it. It is entertaining when people, such as yourself, call us ignorant frauds, and the irony of it is incredible. You consider us whatever you want to, and whatever you need to rationalize, but our job isn't to poison people -- or pretend that such is medicine.
You might be interested to learn that snake oil was never an alternative medicine. Snake oil was sold by the MAINSTREAM doctors. (People like yourself.) They omitted that pesky detail in medical school, didn't they? Furthermore, snake oil was based on echinacea extract, and it did indeed neutralize snake venom to a large degree. In other words, it saved lives, unlike the overwhelming majority of the "real medicines" of today. You can verify that information in old issues of the Pharmacopeias (the official pharmaceutical reference guides). You'll also find in YOUR OWN literature that most of our methods were verified before you were born, like the fact that silver works better than antibiotics and kills viruses (even polio).
Don't come here lecturing us about what is real medicine. You're out of your league.

Hi Sarah,
My husband has metastatic Melanoma on his leg which is contained in the leg at this stage. He has had about 50 removed from on and below the skin. They tell us Melanoma is caused by the sun. So my question is! Can the Budwig Diet help cure my husbands melanomas. They are being removed surgically every 3-4 weeks. He is a young man and deserves to live but the medical profession is telling us that there is no cure and to just keep cutting. I asked the doctor if they had spread because the oxygen got to it and he said he didn't know what I was talking about. I have heard this said in the past. I would appreciate your comments.

Your doctor's opinion is too important to you for us to be able to help you. No mainstream doctor (particularly an oncologist) will ever admit that some alternatives work, because his job, and his industry depend upon refuting such alternatives, and keeping people dependent upon them. As long as you continue to seek his approval, your son will never get cured.
All of the information that you need has been provided above, and in our documentary, 'The Cancer Report'. It tells the whole story.
As you smother your bodies in sunscreens and hide from the sunlight, are the cancers going away, or are the cancers getting worse? You should think about this, while there is still time.
You cannot keep butchering the body and expect its condition to improve. How many times are you going to let them slice him up like a Thanksgiving turkey before you notice the pattern?
We know people like you, and we therefore do not expect for you to actually listen. Thus, we can agree with the doctors about what the eventual outcome will be.

Sarah (or to whom it may concern)!
Does the Budwig mixture with the cottage cheese feed Candida? I thought they feed on dairy. Isn't the idea with Cancer and/or Candida to "starve" the yeast? ... or, does the mixture with cottage cheese AND Flax oil somehow create a "new" food that candida do not thrive on?
I'd love to know, as I'm currently fighting something... and don't want to feed any yeast.
Thanks

Thank you so much for the article and all of the posts! You guys are on a mission! It makes me want to join you in finding ways to spread the news en masse, and save more lives. I'm considering creating a short url that directs to this page, and advertising it- even if it is as simple as passing out a catchy little slip of people with the url to people walking by in high-traffic areas, especially people "walking for the cure." Hey, even if only one person actually tells their loved one with cancer about it, and they follow it, and it saves even one person, would it not be worth the time? What if that one person saved is a child? Perhaps if I make the url and the advertisement slip (one catchy sentence will do), I can recruit others to help me spread them around... Of course if anyone else wants to steal my idea, go ahead! I repeat the quotation found on the side bar of this very webpage: "The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing." -- Albert Einstein
I have three questions:
1. I eat a lot of flax seed because it is inexpensive and is also high in protein, fiber, etc. Does it work just as well (or better?) to just blend whole flax seed with cottage cheese/yoghurt in a high-speed blender, rather than using flax seed oil? ...I just saw that under "Dr.Johanna Budwig Mix:" on the site http://www.aspartame.ca/page_c1.htm that it recommends there actually putting both in the mix. Do you have any comment on that? or on just using whole flax seed?
2. What is the purpose of the cayenne?
3. Under "The Diet" above, it says among other things, No Butter. Why is that?

2011-10-27 14:10:57 |IP:173.198.175.xxx| Adam Hunt - More questions

Also, is soy flour really bad? I don't eat much meat so I try to get quality protein from mixtures of different plant sources. One is my homemade protein bread I make from ground whole wheat, ground brown rice, corn meal, soy flour, unsweetened coconut flakes, ground flax seed, milk, eggs, butter, and soy lecithin. I read that combining wheat, corn and soy flours are one way of getting a balanced plant protein. I am open to other ideas though for accomplishing a balanced higher protein diet w/o much meat... Also, while I understand that flax meal baked into bread most likely does not carry the same health benefits as it does raw, is it unhealthy to add it into my bread dough? How about the more stabilized version of flax seed blended at high speeds with cottage cheese?? How about the coconut flakes? Sorry for so many questions, but perhaps others will be enlightened at the same time... Thank you!

I am a Diabetes Type 2 sufferer and I have just started the Budwig Diet however, I am using Low fat Cottage Cheese in the Budwig plan - I am concerned whether using this is acceptable and also, if consuming Cottage Cheese on a daily basis is okay for someone with Diabetes?
Has anyone tried the Budwig Diet for Type 2 Diabetes and if so, what was it successful?

The information provided here is both true and well explained. The Budwig protocol is the single most effective treatment for cancer patients, as well as those suffering from a wide range of other diseases. In fact, healthy people will notice an immediate benefit from simply combining high quality (preferably organic) refrigerated flax seed oil with cottage cheese in a high speed blender and consuming it daily.
It's interesting to learn why this combination is effective. What's happening is actually a chemical change in the oil, which is why a high speed blender is required for this protocol to be effective. When combined with the sulfated protein, the oil actually becomes water soluble. This is incredibly important because it allows the electron and lignan rich omega-3 fatty acids to penetrate the lung tissues, where they exponentially increase the ability of the lungs to deliver oxygen to the blood stream. For a more in-depth analysis of the process please refer to Budwig's own writings, readily available on the internet.
